How to find out what your card is worth
Find the card’s number
It is at the bottom of the card, for example 223/197. The name and the number together find the right card, even when one Pokémon has hundreds of versions.
Check which version you have
Holo, reverse holo and parallel versions have prices of their own. The card’s page shows both where there are two.
Look at the condition
The price is for a card in good condition. Scratches, white edges and bends lower the value, often a lot.
Mind the language
Japanese cards have prices of their own, so pick the right one in the results.
Graded cards
A card graded by PSA or the like often sells for much more. The prices here are for ungraded cards.
Selling it
Every card page links to Cardmarket and eBay, so you can compare with what it actually sells for.
Questions and answers
Is it free?
Yes. Looking up a card is free and needs no account.
How often are the prices updated?
Every night, from the day’s new Cardmarket and TCGplayer prices.
Where does this price come from?
The European price is Cardmarket’s trend price, their daily estimate of what the card sells for now, from real sales. The US price is TCGplayer’s market price, from recent completed sales. Binderlist collects both every night and keeps each day’s price.
